Asian Markets Trading Flat

Asian Stocks are trading flat on Monday.Nikkei gained 5.1 percent last week, the Hang Seng Index 12.0 percent and the Kospi 3.1 percent.Banking and financial stocks are trading higher with Mizuho Financial Group was 4.9 percent higher, Nomura Holdings up 4.5 percent and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial up 5.0 percent.U.S. job data on Friday added optimism about the U.S.economy recovery.June Nymex crude oil futures were up down 20 cents at $58.43 a barrel on Globex.Gold was $1.05 higher at $917.25 per troy ounce.

Nikkei Stock Average 225 was down 0.49 pct down 46.49 points to 8,456.48.
Hang Seng Index was down 0.05 pct down 8.87 points to 17381.
Straits Times Index down 1.36% or 30.53 points at 2,207.68.
Shanghai Composite Index was up 1.01 pct up 26.58 points to 2,652.23.
